We were hoping to get a hike in on the volcano after breaking camp but some of the last weather of 2016 will have us heading down.
Alls good though. After a couple of nights Hubba Hubbaing it, we have a room booked so as to scrub up for new years eve.

Pucon, we find as one of the more upscale towns that we've visited so far. It is heavily promoted as the sport and recreation capital of Chile.
Gore-Tex mecca.
Restaurants spill onto the street with many offering roasted fare..."Asado". Chilean BBQ.
As here, so much of this trip is a sensory experience. Wood and charcoal smoke continually drift with the essence of charred meat and more.
