SEVILLA, SPAIN. LEAVING ON A BUS.

December 18, 2019

What a lovely start to our winter adventure. It’s been just five days but we’re sorry to already be leaving Sevilla. We do have places to go and a cat to see. Our first stay’s
habitación was in an excellent location in our St Julian barrio. Off and on a world of beaten paths. Always fun finding our way back. We also knew we arrived in Europe with every ringing of the church bells just out of our window.

Our building with a first floor flat.

Now off to the bus station and on the way to Gibraltar. See you there.

EL CHURRO

There’s a saying in Spain that you can’t just live on Paella, tapas, fresh fish, cured ham, gazpacho, pisto, Pulpo a la gallega, chorizo, ……….. thusly…..The Churro and oh yes, the tradition of dipped in chocolate.

A SEVILLA SKATE.

Look what greeted us right off the plane, in the middle of Sevilla, Spain airport.Hola!.Just kidding........but still in the heart of this beautiful city. Flamenca on ice. Spent one hour and ten minutes trying to translate and impress upon them the Canadian importance of:

KEEP YOUR STICK ON THE ICE

Seville Cathedral, Spain.

Catedral de Santa María de la Sede,
better known as
Seville Cathedral, Spain.
The third largest church in the world. Had trouble getting it all in one shot.............because it's the third LARGEST church in the world.
Beautiful religious Christmas market.
Not a Santa in sight.
