Getting all excited.
Today we are hiking out but most importantly,
DOWN.

We generally like to read the rules when we leave.
We are here and glad for it!!
The "balcony view" of Fitz Roy.
Evident by the elevations here, are efforts are easier being at relatively low altitude (meters).
We couldn't positively identify anybody "hanging around" but did see alpinists loaded with ropes on the trail.
Standing here, or a matter of fact anywhere, and imagining anyone climbing these spires is quite overwhelming. Take away today's amazing weather, summiting in the areas typical weather of cloud, cold and impressively HIGH winds is beyond overwhelming.
(one route involved a team taking a jackhammer up to fix pins and the like)
Quite conveniently we shall hike to the trail head and then right onto main street, El Chalten, Argentina.
Here we will spend a couple of days hiking to some Pastelerias and local Cocinas........
.........in between exploring our posada.
